Dune Rancher is a first-person clicker & incremental game, where you build, manage and protect your very own ranch on a desert. The ’Moonwell’ is the core of your ranch, which provide resources. Use your resources to upgrade your base, purchase robots, items, weapons and tools. But be aware, the monsters are approaching: Protect your income against the intruders of the desert. 

The StoryDune Rancher is a story of a lonely Moondust Digger who decides to start chasing his dreams of becoming a succesfull Dune Rancher. After searching months for an unoccupied Moonwell, he finally reaches the destination. Let the rancher life begin!

What makes Dune Rancher distinctive

Dune Rancher is a first-person incremental game built around collecting and protecting Moondust at a desert ranch. The Moonwell provides resources, which you use to upgrade your base and buy robots, items, weapons and tools. Your income can be increased through upgrades and automated with machines, while approaching Desert Spirits threaten to steal your stored Moondust. The core loop combines resource collection, ranch management and defending your income from intruders.

Moondust collection and automation

Moondust is the main material you collect and spend on progression. Weapons, tools and robots can boost your income, with machines and robots taking on automation as you build up the ranch.

Moonwell-based ranch progression

The Moonwell supplies the ranch’s resources and acts as the foundation for development. Those resources fund base upgrades as well as purchases of robots, items, weapons and tools, linking collection directly to expanding what the ranch can do.

Defence against Desert Spirits

Collection is not entirely passive: Desert Spirits approach as intruders and can steal Moondust. The game therefore pairs income growth with protection, using weapons and tools as part of the effort to keep your resources safe.
